About the Event
On May 9th, 5PM PST and 7PM CDT, join UBC NOMAS and NDSU NOMAS as we screen Hacer Mucho Con Poco. The film focuses on how architecture can be made more accessible through creative uses of local materials and new approaches to funding. It presents a path forward for architecture focused on increasing accessibility and promoting social equity and empowerment in line with the missions of NOMA.
Following the screening, join our co-founder and president Kaili and NDSU NOMAS vice president Shayna for a discussion on how these principles can be applied locally in Vancouver and Fargo, two very different cities facing unique sets of challenges. Join us as we discuss how our architectural education can impact future equitable design.
