NOMAS 2019 Seattle Retreat

A highlight of our first year in existence as a chapter was our winter retreat. After studio final reviews, twelve of our members took the train down to Seattle for the weekend as we explored the city seeing Steven Holl's Chapel of Light, , LMN's Benaroya Music Hall, OMA's Seattle Public Library among others all while staying in a cozy air bnb and making bubble tea at night.

We also got the opportunity to visit three firms during our trip. Special thanks to LMN Architects, NBBJ Design, and Olson Kundig for graciously taking times out of their busy days and connecting with our chapter and our members in addition to the offers of mentorship and support.
